- Try cropping any unnecessary background
before re-sizing
- Keep to a maximum size of 640x480pixels
- Save As JPEG at medium quality,
this will result in a file size of 70-90kb
- Always keep your original file as is,
you need at least 150dpi for a good print
- If sending more than 1 file, combine
them in a zip file, this will compress them further
- If you are putting multiple images on a
web page, use thumbnails & link each to the larger image on its own
page. Nothing more frustrating than waiting minutes for a page to open
- To post a pic on the forum, first you
must have a pic on the internet, then include the
following in your message text to locate it, including the symbols at
each end.
Change the red text to the URL of your
image file. To avoid errors, open the page that contains your pic in your
browser, right click on the pic & select properties, you can copy &
paste the URL from there
